David Brogan

David has experienced firsthand the transformative power of gardening. It has helped him reconnect with himself and make positive changes to his life.

He is trained in organic vegetable growing and is qualified in Social and Therapeutic Horticulture. David also has a university degree in Land Economics, is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has built various sucessful businesses over the last 20 years.

In his spare time, David is an avid long-distance runner having completed numerous multi-day events home and abroad. He is married and has three daughters which has undoubtedly been his single biggest success (and challenge!)

Paul Gold

Director

At 16, Paul started his first business washing cars in the freezing cold—week in, week out—never letting a customer down. Before long, the whole neighbourhood knew his name, and his first business took off. Since then, Paul has built multiple businesses. Some thrived, some didn’t—but he kept going, learning from every win, every loss and every mistake.

But life isn’t all roses. Paul has been through tough times too. He knows how it feels to struggle, to doubt yourself, to push through when things get rough. And he has learned that success isn’t just about money—it’s about finding purpose, staying grounded, and keeping your mind in the right place.

Now, Paul uses everything he has learned to help others. Whether it’s business, personal growth, or just finding the next step, Paul believes that with the right mindset and support, anyone can move forward.

Keith Mclellan

Director

Keith Cameron Mclellan is the Managing Director of Country Cycles Killearn Ltd, an independent bike shop rooted in the heart of the Killearn community. Keith’s journey began at age 12 with a local roll run, followed by washing cars by 15 - early signs of the self-reliance and work ethic that continue to drive him today.

With a lifelong passion for cycling and decades of industry experience, Keith has worn many hats, especially in sales, where he excels in building real connections with customers. Running his own shop has become his calling—an outlet for both his business acumen and his love for outdoor adventure. He thrives on helping everyone from first-time riders to seasoned cyclists, bringing authenticity, energy, and deep product knowledge to every interaction.

Outside the shop, Keith is a mountain biking enthusiast who finds joy and challenge in Scotland’s rugged terrain, regardless of the season. In recent years, his love of nature has expanded into gardening, a new passion he shares with his partner Clare. Their time together in the garden has brought Keith balance, grounding him in the rhythms of nature and life.
